Arriving in Barcelona

Welcome to Barcelona!
You’ll land at Barcelona-El Prat Airport (BCN), which is the city’s main international airport, located just 15-20 minutes from the city center.

Getting into the City
There are several easy options to reach your hotel or accommodation:

Taxi

Readily available outside the terminals. A ride into the city typically takes 20–30 minutes and costs around €30–€40.

Aerobus

A convenient express bus that runs every 5–10 minutes to Plaça de Catalunya (a central hub). Tickets cost about €6.75 one-way.

Train

The R2 Nord line connects Terminal 2 to the city (stopping at Passeig de Gràcia, a central location). If you’re arriving at Terminal 1, there’s a free shuttle to Terminal 2.

Metro (L9 Sud)

Connects the airport to various parts of the city with a special airport fare of around €5.50.
